Leadtech Investments, announced today that it has named Young G. Eng-Meng as the head of its four Distressed Opportunities Funds.
Online PR News – 31-May-2016 – Mr. Eng-Meng previously co-managed the funds together with Ashley Hsiung, who announced her departure from the firm yesterday. Mr. Eng-Meng had previously been primarily responsible for the direct investment portfolio of the firms Distressed Opportunities Funds. The firm has also announced that it has appointed distressed team member Leslie Chiang to oversee the funds relationships with their underlying general partners.
Mr. Eng-Meng will continue to report to the firms founding partner and Chief Investment Officer, Mr. Eric Chan Lim. Eng-Meng, age 40, leads a team of 7 professionals covering all aspects of the investment markets. Complementing Mr. Eng-Mengs distressed securities team at Leadtech Investments is the distressed real estate team, headed by Jim Teung, former CIO of top Asset Manager. Combined, Leadtech Investments distressed investing team has over 100 years of experience in the sector.
Eng-Meng joined Leadtech Investments having previously headed the Distressed Debt Analytics Group at a top bank. As an investor, he has served on numerous ad hoc bankruptcy committees. Mr. Eng-Meng earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Tokyo and received his MBA School of Business.
