Family Mediation Center and founders Susan Hansen and Greg Hildebrand honored by State Bar of Wisconsin.
Online PR News – 30-November-2015 – Family Mediation Center is proud to announce recognition by the State Bar of Wisconsin as a Wisconsin Legal Innovator in 2015. Only the second year of the award, the State Bar of Wisconsin recognizes individuals and organizations that put new ideas to work to solve problems and improve the delivery of legal services to their clients and communities. Family Mediation Center aims to change the process of divorce and separation. By utilizing a neutral lawyer-mediator, couples receive an initial education session on their legal options and can pursue mediation as a choice for navigating their separation or divorce. Additionally, Family Mediation Center lawyer mediators work collaboratively with child/family specialists and financial experts, when necessary, to assist the couple in making the best decisions for their family.
We are honored to receive recognition from our state bar association for the innovative work occurring at Family Mediation Center. We salute the other awardees on their innovative practices as we all seek to solve problems and improve the delivery of legal services throughout our state, says Greg Hildebrand, Family Mediation Center co-founder.
Susan Hansen, co-founder of Family Mediation Center, will accept the award on Friday, December 4, 2015 at the State Bar of Wisconsin Board of Governors meeting in Madison, Wisconsin. In discussing Family Mediation Center, Susan Hansen says our goal is to help others view divorce as restructuring the family, rather than ending the family.
