BluePay Wins Three Stevie Awards in 2017 American Business Awards

BluePay is honored to announce they have been named the winner of three Stevie Awards in The 15th Annual American Business Awards.

Online PR News – 02-May-2017BluePay, a leader in the payment processing industry dedicated to delivering secure integrated payment technology, is honored to announce they have been named the winner of three Stevie Awards in The 15th Annual American Business Awards including: a Gold Stevie in the Best Product or Service of the Year Software Payments Solution category; a Silver Stevie in the Company of the Year Financial Services Large category; and a Bronze Stevie in the Customer Service Team of the Year category. This is BluePays second year being nominated for The American Business Awards.

The American Business Awards are the nations premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning crowned, the awards will be presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel, in New York, on Tuesday, June 20.

BluePays premier payment gateway was awarded a Gold Stevie in the Payment Solutions sub-category of Best Product or Service (Software). This was a new nomination category for The American Business Awards. Processing $14 billion in transaction volume annually and integrated with over 380 software platforms, the secure omnichannel payment platform was recognized for its robust functionality that helps merchants increase sales and streamline business operations.

To maintain its brand as a preferred payment platform, new functionality is continually being developed while existing features are enhanced on the BluePay Gateway. Topping the list of accomplishments in 2016 included the launch of Account Updater, EMV transactions on the gateway, and TokenShieldSM.

With Account Updater, merchants with recurring billing customers stay current with payment card updates and reduce declined transactions by maintaining a seamless payment experience. Another notable accomplishment included adding the ability for merchants to accept card-present EMV transactions from POS devices on the gateway using a compatible NETePay application.

BluePays TokenShieldSM credit card and ACH tokenization service allows merchants to process transactions two ways using customer-defined tokens or BluePay-defined tokens. Customer-defined tokens allow a merchant to use a custom identifier, rather than a transaction ID, to be sent as a token on a transaction.

We are extremely honored to be recognized by The American Business Awards for our advanced payment gateway technology, commented Tim Trench, Executive Vice President of Product at BluePay. Over the last 15 years, the BluePay Gateway has emerged as a top choice for merchants and partners throughout North America, and we continue to listen to them to deliver products and features on the gateway to help them grow their businesses.

As an organization, BluePay was awarded a Silver Stevie for Company of the Year (Financial Services Large) based on its strong leadership, channel growth, new technology, and impeccable customer service. BluePay is proud to have a high-performing workforce delivering outstanding service and solutions, which position the organization as a leading technology company in the payment processing industry.

Bala Janakiraman, Chief Executive Officer at BluePay said, Winning a Silver Stevie Award for Company of the Year is a tremendous honor for BluePay. By delivering innovative payment technology, coupled with exceptional customer service, we are able to attract new partners and financial institutions throughout North America. This enables us to expand our reach and provide our industry-leading payment solutions to a wide variety of verticals.

The partner channel has seen considerable growth in 2016, and this is partly attributed to BluePays Partner Support Team, honored with a Bronze Stevie for Customer Service Team of the Year. As the first line of support, the team is solely dedicated to ensuring BluePays partners and their clients have the tools and resources necessary to be successful. To gauge its success, BluePay uses Voice of the Customer and Net Promoter Score (NPS) methodologies to actively listen to its partners and continuously improve everything the company does for them. With the implementation of the support team and review of processes, the partner team has been successful in improving its NPS year-over-year.

Nicole Palella-Feagan, Chief Customer Officer at BluePay, said, Winning a Bronze Stevie Award for our Partner Support Team is an amazing accomplishment for BluePay. We continue to focus on our Voice of the Customer surveys and NPS score in order to deliver an exceptional experience to our partners and merchants. We pride ourselves on providing fast and easy payment processing, and our customer service should follow suit.

More than 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories. More than 190 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this years Stevie Award winners.

Each year the judges find the quality and variety of the nominations to be greater than the year before. The 2017 competition was intense and every organization that has won should be proud, said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.
