Online PR News – 02-May-2017 – BluePay, a leader in the payment processing industry dedicated to delivering secure integrated payment technology, is honored to announce they have been named the winner of three Stevie Awards in The 15th Annual American Business Awards including: a Gold Stevie in the Best Product or Service of the Year Software Payments Solution category; a Silver Stevie in the Company of the Year Financial Services Large category; and a Bronze Stevie in the Customer Service Team of the Year category. This is BluePays second year being nominated for The American Business Awards.
The American Business Awards are the nations premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning crowned, the awards will be presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel, in New York, on Tuesday, June 20.
BluePays premier payment gateway was awarded a Gold Stevie in the Payment Solutions sub-category of Best Product or Service (Software). This was a new nomination category for The American Business Awards. Processing $14 billion in transaction volume annually and integrated with over 380 software platforms, the secure omnichannel payment platform was recognized for its robust functionality that helps merchants increase sales and streamline business operations.
To maintain its brand as a preferred payment platform, new functionality is continually being developed while existing features are enhanced on the BluePay Gateway. Topping the list of accomplishments in 2016 included the launch of Account Updater, EMV transactions on the gateway, and TokenShieldSM.
With Account Updater, merchants with recurring billing customers stay current with payment card updates and reduce declined transactions by maintaining a seamless payment experience. Another notable accomplishment included adding the ability for merchants to accept card-present EMV transactions from POS devices on the gateway using a compatible NETePay application.
BluePays TokenShieldSM credit card and ACH tokenization service allows merchants to process transactions two ways using customer-defined tokens or BluePay-defined tokens. Customer-defined tokens allow a merchant to use a custom identifier, rather than a transaction ID, to be sent as a token on a transaction.
